It’s Daring Bakers time again :-)! This month’s challenge: anything goes if it’s cheesecake inside! So here it is the ultimate chocolate-cheesecake :-).

How to make it

For the chocolate part mix eggs with sugar, then add the syrup. Melt butter and chocolate in a bain marine. Let cool down a bit and mix it with sugar & eggs. Add flour, bakingpowder and salt and stir slowly until just combined.

For the cheesecake part mix creamcheese, butter, sugar and eggs until smooth.

Place the chocolate part in a baking form and add the cheesecake part on top. Mix it by using a long stick and decorate with almonds.

Bake for around 40 min at 180°C.

The April 2009 challenge is hosted by Jenny from Jenny Bakes. She has chosen Abbey’s Infamous Cheesecake as the challenge.

This looks amazing. I tried two different chocolate versions but just couldn’t get it chocolatey enough for my tastes. Thanks for being a part of the challenge!
