Meet the DMBLGIT-jury (1): Lemonpi

14 April 2009 · 2 Comments

Last week of “Does my blog look good in this?” started. Time to present the jury :-). Luckily I got together my four favorite blogs for April’s DMBLGIT, so presenting them to you makes me feel very happy! First one in the round is Lemonpi and to add something new to DMBLGIT, I set up a 1 minute interview. Because who can present her blog better to you than the bloggeress herself? Enjoy :-)!

What inspires you to write a food blog? A love of food and baking. Blogging just seemed like the natural next step. I was also inspired by the many food blogs I had read and still read. ´
Which cookbook can you not do without? There aren’t very many recipes left that I haven’t tried, from Belinda Jeffery’s Mix & Bake, and Alice Medrich’s Pure Dessert.

Tell us something about food from your part of the world? I guess Australia is considered a bit of a melting pot of cultures, and hence, cuisines.

Which other food blogs do you read regularly? Probably too many to list. The ones I love most have a lot of warmth (spicy icecream), humour and passion (wrightfood) and inspiration (Tartlette) to share.
