I made this crème caramel last weekend, eating it before going out, and it’s delicious! It reminds me of several party nights in Barcelona, and you know what: Crème Caramel rocks :-)!
Crème caramel & Framboises
Recipe for 4 crèmes caramel
*** Ingredients for caramel
- 150 gr sugar
- 75 mL water
*** Ingredients for the crèmes
- 150 mL milk
- 200 mL cream
- 2 eggs
- 4 egg yolks
- 150 gr sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
*** Method
- Put water & sugar in saucepan at low heat. Stir untill sugar dissolves.
- Increase heat and let cook for 8 minutes till golden brown.
- Pour the caramel in 4 ramekins and let set for a few minutes.
- Heat milk & cream (low temperature)
- In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs, yolks and vanilla extract. Pour slowly the hot cream-milk and keep whisking. Pour this final mixture in the ramekins.
- Put the ramekins in a baking dish that you fill with hot water (should cover 3/4 of the ramekins)
- Bake at 150°C for 30 minutes
- Take out and let cool
- Sink the base of the ramekins in hot water for a few seconds and unmold before serving

How beautiful! I would definitely want to taste something that reminds me of partying in Barcelona :D
