M makes the best lasagna in the world: It’s wonderful, from Napoli and tastes like summer! Everything lasagna-alike I would possibly try to make would be 2nd league, no doubt. Besides M would never ever eat a Emilia-Romagna lasagna (Italians are regionalist you know!), and so I decided to make a sweet dessert lasagna filled up with Italian pudding and raspberries for this month’s Daring Bakers challenge :-)!
The baking-part of this challenge was the pasta anyway, so I hope it counts :-)!

Sweet lasagna fresh from the oven.

How to make it
Step 1: Make fresh lasagna sheets!
Step 2: Make fresh Italian vanillapudding!
Step 3: Assemble it all together with raspberries in small cups!
Step 4: Bake it for 15 min at 200°C.
Step 5: Eat it :-)!

Chilled sweet lasagna.
The March 2009 challenge is hosted by Mary of Beans and Caviar, Melinda of Melbourne Larder and Enza of Io Da Grande. They have chosen Lasagne of Emilia-Romagna from The Splendid Table by Lynne Rossetto Kasper as the challenge.

That looks so good! Almost more like a pudding, or a sweet lasagna pie.

his was one of the possibilties I’ve considered for sweet lasagna.
What I’ve misse to explain was tha I’ve flavoured the boiling water for sweet version with a couple of tbs of sugar and a huge lemon zest so they slightly smell at the end.
My compliments, great job!
